Honeymoon Update for our Brides

When

January 19 - December 1

What

Dear Valued Brides,

First and foremost, I want to express my sincerest apologies to any of our brides who may have experienced frustration, disappointment, or concerns regarding the honeymoon promotion vouchers provided by Formalities. At Formalities by Tracina Fisher, your trust and happiness are at the heart of everything we do, and we are deeply upset that the following situation has impacted two of our valued clients.

To provide some context, we contracted with Marketing Concepts in good faith to offer free honeymoon vouchers as a way to give something extra special to our brides. Over the years, approximately 15 of our clients, as well as myself, have successfully used these vouchers without any issues. However, we were recently made aware of two instances of fraud involving a third-party travel supplier subcontracted by Marketing Concepts.

This third-party supplier, who had worked with Marketing Concepts for over 15 years, unexpectedly took deposits for vacations and then “went off the grid,” leaving two brides without their planned trips. The supplier has since been reported to the U.S. Attorney General and other authorities local to their business, and the matter is under investigation.

As a company, we made a substantial investment in these vouchers, believing they would add joy and value to your wedding experience. Like you, we placed our trust in this partnership. We are deeply disappointed by what has occurred and have made the difficult decision to sever our relationship with Marketing Concepts entirely.

While we will no longer work with them, I want to assure you that I have been in direct contact with Peter Hayes, the owner of Marketing Concepts.  He has assured me that any brides who still want to redeem their vouchers will be handled correctly and will not experience any further issues. Marketing Concepts has been very forthcoming and is actively working with clients to ensure their trips are honored.

It is important to note that, Formalities cannot be held responsible for any additional issues that may arise. All matters related to the vouchers must be handled directly with Marketing Concepts. For assistance, you can reach Peter Hayes at (616) 328-4503

We are truly sorry for the stress, disappointment and/or inconvenience this has caused, and we never wanted anything but the best for our brides. Your trust means everything to us, and we are committed to learning from this experience to ensure that all future partnerships and promotions reflect the high standards you deserve. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly.

With heartfelt apologies and gratitude,

Tracina Fisher
